AI TRAINING
EDINBURGH
Edinburgh's fund managers, insurers and fintech firms have AI tools under careful governance, and modest use. We get one team using them on real work, and we measure it.
AI training in Edinburgh for asset managers, insurers, banks and fintech teams: a usage baseline, one pilot workflow, measured cycle time. On site or remote.

ASSET MANAGEMENT, INSURANCE AND FINTECH
Edinburgh is one of the UK's main financial centres outside London, with long roots in asset management, life insurance and pensions, and banking. A newer layer of fintech and data companies has grown up around a university with deep roots in AI research. The Scottish Government and public bodies add a large policy workforce.
Fund and pension businesses produce a steady stream of regulated documents: factsheets, investor letters, board papers, Consumer Duty evidence, replies to client queries. They need accuracy and an audit trail. Rollouts here are cautious for good reason, and use often stays at the level of drafting the odd email.
We work inside that caution. A good first pilot is a document that's repeated, reviewed and owned, and the review step around it doesn't change.
WHERE WE'D START IN EDINBURGH

Board and committee papers

Public bodies and research teams summarising consultations and reports into briefing notes.
HOW IT RUNS IN EDINBURGH
Edinburgh is a direct flight from Paris, and about four and a half hours from London by train. We group on-site days, usually for the baseline and the first workshop, and run follow-ups remotely.
If you also have teams in Glasgow or elsewhere in the Central Belt, we can cover both cities on one trip.
Week 1: the baseline
Usage by team in investment, operations, client service and risk, plus the documents that go through review most often.
Weeks 2 to 5: one pilot
One reviewed document, such as quarterly investor commentary, rebuilt with the team and checked by compliance as usual.
Week 6, then month 3: the measured change
Drafting time before and after, review comments per draft, and weekly use by team in month three.

THE TOOLS YOU ALREADY PAY FOR
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does this fit with the FCA's Consumer Duty?
The duty is about good outcomes for customers, so a person stays accountable for anything that reaches them and your review steps stay intact. We also write down what the tool does and who checks it, which helps your compliance team.
Our governance committee has approved very few uses. Can we still start?
Yes. We start with internal, non-client documents that already fit your policy, and bring the committee evidence from the pilot for the next approval.
Do you cover Glasgow as well?
Yes. Glasgow is close by train, so we can plan on-site days in both cities on the same trip.
We're a fintech scale-up, not a fund house. Is this still relevant?
Yes, with lighter governance and faster cycles. The pilot might be support replies, release notes or investor updates, measured the same way.
