# From process notes to an SOP.

Describe how the work happens. WCS SOP Builder turns your notes into a draft standard operating procedure that the process owner can review.

## Capture how the work happens

Use a process walkthrough, rough notes or an existing procedure. The draft identifies the people responsible for each step, expected outputs, decisions and exceptions. A team checklist and owner questions sit alongside the procedure.

Suitable examples include client onboarding, employee onboarding, weekly reporting and handovers. Every output remains a draft. Missing information stays unanswered and conflicting instructions stay visible.

## Choose your source

Paste or upload notes in your chat host. You can also choose selected notes from Fathom, Granola or ChatGPT Meetings through their official host connections, where available. These are optional and follow your account permissions. SOP Builder does not record meetings, hold notetaker credentials or fetch archives itself.

Try this prompt: “Turn these process notes into an SOP and team checklist. Keep conflicting instructions visible and list what the process owner needs to confirm.” Add only the notes you are permitted to share.

## Check before using

The tools check structure and source references. They do not verify factual accuracy or certify safety, compliance or approval. The process owner needs to compare the draft with actual practice and test it before release. SOP Builder creates text; it does not carry out the procedure or change your systems.
