## What it is

- **Your stage** on the WCS AI Maturity Model.
- **The barrier holding you back**, out of four.
- **The failure pattern** your answers describe, with what to do about it.

## The four barriers it measures

1. **People:** what your people can do, dare to do, and pass on to each other.
2. **Leadership:** the conditions you create: example, permission, ownership, measurement.
3. **Process:** what was genuinely redesigned around AI, and what was just bolted on.
4. **Foundations:** the tools, access and rules that make usage possible and safe.

## The four stages

| Stage | Name | What it looks like |

| 0 | Pre-Diagnosis | Nobody has measured yet where AI would change the work. |
| 1 | Ready to Pilot | The tools are there, the work hasn't moved yet. |
| 2 | Scaling | The proof exists. The problem now is transfer. |
| 3 | Institutionalizing | AI is part of the work, not a project with a name. |
